To serve the conservation of wildlife and the natural world the Cougar Mountain Zoo

1. Funds and operates the Tree Swallow (Tachycineta bicolor) Propagation Program
2. Supports Cheetah Conservation in Africa through Annual Giving
3. Funds and operates the Wood Duck (Aix sponsa) Propagation Program
4. Participates and supports ISIS (Internal Species Information System)
5. Participates in studbook registries
6. Supports through annual giving Zoological Association of America (ZAA) conservation programs
7. Distributes Free Zoo Tickets to thousands of area school children to promote conservation
8. Conducting Educational Programs such as Lectures, Guided Tours, Outreach Presentations and Demonstrations
9. Educates and encourages thousands of Zoo Visitors to give to wildlife conservation
