What to Do
- Meet Santa Claus in his House
Santa is available Dec. 1-23 from 10:00am to 4:30pm with short breaks to check on his Reindeer.
- Picture Yourself with Santa
Capture the joy of the Holiday Season by purchasing a photo with the Big Man Himself,
Santa Claus. $15 for the first photo in a special Reindeer Festival photo folder.
$10 for each additional photo or $5 for 3 photos using your own camera.
- See Santa’s Reindeer Team
On your way to Santa’s House and Barn, feed his Reindeer and watch them play.
- Stop by Santa’s Post Office
Write a letter or draw a picture for Santa and put it in his personal mailbox.
- Sit in the Grand Traveling Sleigh
Sit in the Sleigh that Santa uses to make his remarkable journey around the World.
- Hear a Story from an Elf
Visit Story Time Theater for a story read by an Elf (On the hour Dec. 1-23, 1pm only Dec. 26-30).
- Wander through the Magic Forest
Hand Feed Santa’s South American Reindeer and Santa's Special Listeners, and hop on over to his Postal Carriers with built in pouches.
- Observe Santa’s Kittens
Admire the strength and skill of Santa’s Kittens and as they prepare
to accompany Santa and his Reindeer Team.
- Embark on a Magical Journey
Take in the magnificent sights and sounds of this unique Holiday Festival.
- Festive Face Painting
Face Painting is available from 12-2pm everyday!
- Watch Santa’s Candy Cane Makers
Notice how carefully they clean their stripes before helping Santa make beautiful candy canes.
- Feed treats to Santa’s Animals
Feed Santa’s designated creatures yummy holiday treats.
- Shop for Unique Gifts Galore!
Discover the perfect holiday gift for yourself or anyone on your list at the Wild
Treasures Gift Shop. Pick up a puzzling
puzzle, a cuddly creature, or a festive fleece to complete your holiday shopping.
- Admire the Breathtaking Art &
Bronze Sculptures
Take a moment to peruse the stunning collection of Wildlife Art in the Nature Gallery
and Museum and view the largest collection
of Animal Bronzes of any Zoo in the country.
- Give to our Toy Drive
The Issaquah Reindeer Festival proudly donates toys to kids in need. Bring
your new, unwrapped present to the Festival and receive one free child's admission to Cougar Mountain
Zoo for your next visit January through March 2013.
- Enjoy Hot Drinks and Snacks
Treat yourself to hot chocolate, apple cider,
scrumptious cookies and other tasty treats available
from the Snack Shop (Dec. 1-23) or in the Wild Treasures Gift Shop (Dec. 26-30).
