this Program is administrated by the
Cougar Mountain Zoo Education Department
for schools Pre K through 12 and all
other Youth Oriented Entities. The objective
of this unique education program is
to encourage and enable the participation
of Students in grades Pre K through
12 in a Living Classroom on a continuous
and routine manner.
This unique
'Living Classroom' Program is one of
the many ways by which the Zoo implements
its mission to serve the surrounding
communities through Educational Programs
in a Living Classroom.
Using
your Zoo as a 'Living Classroom' helps
to develop an awareness of the natural
World around us, instills a sense of
individual and collective responsibility,
encourages creativity, reinforces our
community values and makes learning
for people of all ages an unforgettable
adventure.

To become
a Living Classroom Member
contact the Zoo Education Department
and submit a completed application accompanied
by a one time Registration Fee of $20.
Upon acceptance into the Program you
are eligible to receive the
first six Benefits starting
with your first Tour. The remaining
Benefits 7 and 8 are
awarded and start after completing one
to four Group Tours based on the size
of your institution. |
